20 Lessons and Some Minor Improvements
Well, I just finished publishing our twentieth lesson, so I thought it’d be a good time to post some news.
As you may have noticed, we recently added a new section called “Programming”. When I was planning out some of the Javascript lessons I realized that it’d be best if we covered the concepts, fundamentals, and theories of computer programming in a way separate from Javascript. If we didn’t then we would end up with a lot of repeat reading in the PHP lessons. So, we created the new Programming section, which will cover all of the concepts, fundamentals, and theories of computer programming.
Also, you may have noticed that the “Where to Start” looks a tiny bit new. It now has some rather large lists of future lessons that we’ll be putting out in the near future. If you mouse over these gray lists, it’ll actually give you a bit of information about the future lesson. We’ll continue to do this from now on, listing future lessons in our list so you can see what will be coming up soon.
We’ve also made a few minor layout changes throughout the site. They were all pretty subtle so you probably won’t notice them. We’ll probably make a few more here and there as well. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.
And finally, one of our biggest announcements is that soon we will have a new Quiz section which will have quizzes related to each lesson which you can take to test your knowledge and get some practice as well. Hopefully they’ll be out and the first of the quizzes will be out before the end of the month.
I hope you enjoy the site and look forward to our coming changes.
