A Brief Almost-Hiatus

I just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know that I’ll be taking a brief almost-hiatus from writing new lessons for HTML Blox to develop the Web Design & Flash Animation curriculum for iD Tech for the 2010 season.

I will still be writing blog posts and probably still putting out a few lessons as well, but the speed that they come out will be reduced a bit. I will strive to still get at least one of each out every week. I’ll also still be responding to comments and communicating in the forums, so keep those questions coming!

Also, if you are between the ages of 7 and 17 you should check out iD Tech. They’re the #1 Technology Camp in America. I’ve instructed at one of their locations (the College of William & Mary location in Williamsburg, VA) for the past two years and I’ll likely be there again this summer as well.

If you get the opportunity to attend one of their more than 60 locations all across the country, do it! Not only is it a great learning experience you can’t really get anywhere else, it’s also a ton of fun. I only wish I had known about iD Tech when I was still young enough to attend as a camper.

(And no, they didn’t ask me to write this. They don’t even know that I did… iD Tech is just that awesome!)
